HISTORY OF "OM"

OM is an auspicious and the greatest mantra of Hindu religion in India. It was discovered lakhs of years ago in the beginning of the Universe. It is said that the World begins with OM. In this world OM is the first creation of the God. It was found in Upnishadas(It is philosophical text). It was in Mandukya Upnishad. OM is the auspicious sound or mantra in hindu religion. It is the symbol of peace.


The Mandukya Upnishad is an ancient vedic text related to vedanta philosophy. OM is the beginning and end of the universe. OM is also used in Yoga and meditation. OM is helping a lot of people recovering from various diseases through the power of meditation.

Patanjali guru taught first the meaning of OM. It is said that it is the trinity of Bramha, Vishnu and Mahesh(Shiva)in Upnishad. Om is the auspicious word which can produce positive and powerful vibrations.
